Lilly & Luke Halloween 2008

Lilly got to help daddy get the pumpkins ready for Halloween this year. She had fun digging out the pumpkin seeds and helping carve the faces. She loved seeing them all lit up on our front sidewalk.

Lilly and Luke did dress up for Halloween this year. Lilly originally wanted to be a football player. We had seen an infant football costume in one of the newspaper ads and decided that Luke would be a football for Halloween, so then Lilly pointed to the football player and said that she wanted to be that. But then once we got to the store and she saw all of the pretty costumes, she decided against the football player and wanted to be a cheerleader instead.

Our Squadron here at Luke AFB had a Halloween party for the kids, Lilly had fun playing games, getting candy and other yummy treats, and playing with the other kids. We did take Lilly and Luke out for a little while on Halloween night too. Even though Lilly doesn't totally get it yet, she thought it was fun to walk around to the houses in our neighborhood and get candy. She even mastered the "trick or treat" part and then saying thank you once she got the treat. She also had fun watching all of the other kids in their costumes and wanted to help hand-out candy at our house. We had a fun Halloween!!
